Copies of reports are available from the General Services Division located on the first floor of the Public Safety Complex. It is recommended you call 203-622-8024 to determine if the report you want is available. Normal processing time for an accident report requires five business days from the date of the accident. Incident reports must be requested in writing and are processed in four business days from receipt of your request. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.

Due to the volume of requests and the extraordinary amount of time to review each report to comply with these laws, there may be an extended wait for your report.

Due to COVID-19, fingerprinting services are conducted by appointment only. The services are offered solely to Greenwich residents or employees of businesses located in Greenwich.
Charge for fingerprinting service is $10 per card. If you do not have a fingerprint card, cards may be purchased for an additional $5.00 per card when you check in for your appointment.
