[ARCHIVED] On-Line Activities for Children During "Stay Safe, Stay Home"

With the schools, closed parents have been looking for ways to keep their children entertained with activities.  Below are a few lists of activates your children can do online to help them spend their time while we all are “Staying Home and Staying Safe”.  -Day to day projects to keep kids reading and learning  -Nonprofit whose mission is to provide free, world-class education for anyone, anywhere.  -The American Museum of Natural History (AMNH) in New York City offers online learning materials for science fans of all ages. It provides games and activities for kids and covers a range of science topics, including archaeology, paleontology, astronomy, and marine biology.  -The Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum’s webpage provides virtual tours of the museum and educational podcasts, games, and activities about aircraft and spacecraft.  -  Video series of science activities you can do at home.   Kids learn to write name in hieroglyphics  - Live cams from the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
