In accordance with the Declaration of Local State of Emergency made by First Selectman Fred Camillo, effective immediately and until further notice, the following services provided by the Greenwich Police Department will be postponed:
•Public Use of the Public Safety Complex
•All Ride-A-Longs
•All in-person Juvenile Review Board sessions
•Building Tours
•Public Speaking Engagements
•Internship programs
•April High School Women’s Self Defense Class
•In-person Citizens and Police Partnership meetings
Public Fingerprinting is postponed until April 14, 2020. More information to follow at a later date.
The Greenwich Police Department General Services Division will be having changes made to the schedules of the staff. Please contact 203-622-8024 before responding to the Public Safety Complex for the following:
•Request for Police Reports
•Letters of Good Conduct
•Records Checks
Please contact the Office of the Chief of Police at 203-622-8010 for information relating to Connecticut Pistol Permits before coming to the Public Safety Complex.
Chief Heavey regrets having to postpone these programs and limiting access to the Public Safety Complex. The department is limiting access to the Public Safety Complex to preserve the department’s ability to provide critical public safety services to the community.
