BBB_Greenwich_Plaza_View_01_DAY_2019_07_03

New applications were submitted earlier this week for the redevelopment of the Greenwich Train Station and surrounding area to the Planning & Zoning Department. The applications include a preliminary site plan and special permit, a text amendment, and a Municipal Improvement subject to approval first by the Board of Selectmen. There is a detailed narrative from the applicant that explains the particulars of each application, as well as 5 renderings on the website to view.

The Board of Selectmen will hold a meeting to review the proposed Municipal Improvement at 10 a.m. on July 11, in the Town Hall Meeting Room at Town Hall. The Board of Selectmen will potentially decide on whether or not to refer the Municipal Improvement to the Planning and Zoning Commission at another public meeting at 10 a.m. on July 23 in the Town Hall Meeting Room.

The Planning & Zoning Commission will open the application(s) at their July 30 meeting at 7 p.m. in the Town Hall Meeting Room.

All of these meetings are open to the public and we very much welcome your comments. The applications are public record and available for review and copying M-Fri from 8 a.m.- 4 p.m. in the P&Z office on the 2nd floor of Town Hall. You can write or e-mail your comments for entry into the public record by e-mailing Katie DeLuca, Town Planner at kdeluca@greenwichct.org
