PROCLAMATION from Fred Camillo, First Selectman
WHEREAS, The Greenwich United Way was founded in 1933 and is currently celebrating its 90th anniversary; and
WHEREAS, The Greenwich United Way works so that every member of the Greenwich community has the opportunity to be healthy, educated and self-sufficient; and
WHEREAS, The Greenwich United Way has developed many of Greenwich's most beloved organizations and programs relating to human services; and
WHEREAS, The Greenwich United Way for the last 90 years has been the one organization that has supported all of Greenwich.
NOW, THEREFORE, l, Fred Camillo, FIRST SELECTMAN OF THE TOWN OF GREENWICH, do
hereby proclaim October 14, 2023 as
Greenwich United Way Day
in the Town of Greenwich and urge all residents to join me in celebrating the 90th anniversary of the Greenwich United Way.
