PROCLAMATION from Fred Camillo, First Selectman
WHEREAS, Frances Robbins was born October 7, 1923 in Greenwich, Connecticut and was raised in her beloved Town, living in the Pemberwick section of Greenwich for most of her life; and
WHEREAS, Frances served the Greenwich real estate community as a data entry clerk and a compliance coordinator for the Greenwich Association of Realtors and the Greenwich Multiple Listing Service as her second career, giving years of help to these organizations allowing them to run efficiently and effectively; and
WHEREAS, Frances has spent her life enjoying hobbies like horseback riding, playing both the piano and the organ, caring for her multiple pets that she has loved dearly and cruising the world with her husband Al and their son Lee to many destinations; and
WHEREAS, Frances has always shown a heart for helping others, especially through donations she has given to St. Jude and to the Humane Society; and
WHEREAS, Frances has lived her life as a devoted wife and mother and has shown herself time and time again to be a wonderful and caring person and friend.
NOW, THEREFORE, l, Fred Camillo, FIRST SELECTMAN OF THE TOWN OF GREENWICH, do
hereby proclaim October 7, 2023 as
Frances Robbins Day
in the Town of Greenwich and urge all residents to join me in wishing Frances a very happy 100th birthday as she hits this incredible milestone.
