PROCLAMATION from Fred Camillo, First Selectman
WHEREAS, The themes of this year’s observances are: “We Are Health Care” recognizing the amazing people who work in hospitals and health systems; “You Make a Difference” recognizing the many roles nurses play in a patient’s healthcare journey; and gratitude to all healthcare employees and medical staff who make a difference in the lives of patients, families, and the community; and
WHEREAS, Greenwich Hospital continues through its dedicated staff to provide safe, high-quality, patient- and family-centered innovative care which is such an important role in the healing process; and
WHEREAS, Greenwich Hospital healthcare employees and medical staff are committed to continuing education and advancement to meet the increasing technological and regulatory demands of the modern healthcare environment; and
WHEREAS, The Greenwich Hospital healthcare employees and medical staff daily care for the health and well-being of the residents of Greenwich and surrounding communities through their clinical skills and compassion; and
WHEREAS, The Town of Greenwich appreciates and recognizes all the contributions of Greenwich Hospital’s healthcare employees and medical staff.
NOW, THEREFORE, l, Fred Camillo, FIRST SELECTMAN OF THE TOWN OF GREENWICH, do
hereby proclaim May 4-13, 2023 as
Nurses Week, Hospital Week, and the Ten Days of Gratitude
in the Town of Greenwich and encourage all our citizens to join me in applauding and thanking all healthcare employees and medical staff who serve the Greenwich community for giving of themselves.
