TOWN OF GREENWICH EMERGENCY ALERT SYSTEM
Greenwich Alerts powered by EverBridge
The Town of Greenwich Emergency Management Team will use Greenwich Alerts, powered by EverBridge, to ensure you know about emergent situations that may affect your safety. This system allows the Greenwich Emergency Management Team to contact thousands of residents in seconds, so you can quickly find out about a crisis and respond appropriately.
How it Works
The process begins when the Town of Greenwich issues a message about a potential safety hazard or concern. Greenwich Alerts will then send a message through your primary contact path. You can select to be called on your home phone, cell phone, text message, email, or through the EverBridge app. You can choose one or all paths you prefer to be contacted on. If you don't confirm receipt of the message, the system will try to reach your second contact path. The system will use your established multiple contact paths to reach you until you confirm receipt.
The success of this service relies on you. Having your latest contact information is the only way to ensure we can contact you in an emergency.
