On March 22, 2023, Joshua Dejesus (82 Cottage St, Bridgeport, CT - 24 years old) was apprehended by the
Bridgeport Police Department on an arrest warrant held by the Greenwich Police Department.
The Greenwich Police arrest warrant alleged on May 28, 2022, Dejesus participated in a catalytic convertor theft from a vehicle on Henry Street. During the theft, the victim (vehicle owner) related that Dejesus brandished and
threatened him with a firearm and the tool used to remove his car part if he was prevented from committing the crime.
Dejesus was arrested and taken to the Greenwich Police Department and charged with the following:
53a-134(a)(2) – Robbery 1st with a weapon
53a -115 - Criminal Mischief 1st
53a-124 - Larceny 4th
53a-48 Conspiracy charge for each of the above charges
Dejesus was able to post the court-set bond of $250,000 and is scheduled to appear at Stamford Superior Court on April 5, 2023.
