All moorings are required to be permitted annually along with required documentation outlined in the application provided by the Greenwich Harbor Management Commission.
It is the responsibility of a mooring holder to submit, along with a completed application, current proof of registration, insurance, triannual mooring inspection, and annual fee. There is great demand for moorings in Greenwich. It is important that vacant mooring locations are made available to other boaters. It is the responsibility of the mooring holder to notify the HMC if they are no longer using their mooring. It is also the mooring holders’ responsibility to remove their unused tackle.
Please advise the Harbor Management Commission if you intend to bring your mooring into compliance with the regulations. Please note that unpermitted moorings are subject to removal at the owner's cost.
