Following the annual process, attached are the Department of Parks and Recreation fee change recommendations for the Board of Selectmen’s consideration for the calendar year 2023. Attachments include:
• 2023 Provisional Beach Policy (renewed annually, dates updated)
• General Fund Fee Change Proposals
• Golf Fund Fee Change Proposals
Fee change recommendations were determined based on factoring in minimum wage increases, adhering to BET budget guidelines, market value comparisons, and operational demands. Through the annual fee schedule review, the Department seeks to balance rising costs and inflationary pressures with the mission of our Department and maintaining access to our quality public programming and services. The Parks and Recreation Department is requesting approval of the 2023 Fee Change Proposals at the December 8, 2022 Board of Selectmen meeting (BOS).
If approved by the Board of Selectmen, each fee will be added to the Department’s master fee schedule.
