PROCLAMATION from Fred Camillo, First Selectman
WHEREAS, Robert Joseph Capazzo, Bob as we know him, has earned the Greenwich Sentinel Foundation award joining the ranks of Sentinels Jim Heavey, Jim Lemler, Susan Wohlforth, James McArdle, Pamela Pagnani, and Stephanie Dunn Ashley; and
WHEREAS, Bob is a self-made renaissance man gifted with the ability to master many talents including but not limited to photography, music, and martial arts; and
WHEREAS, Bob has used his talent as a photographer to become the much-loved chronicler of the wonderful, remarkable, and generous citizens of Greenwich; and
WHEREAS, Bob has used his talent for music in ways both big and small that bring our community together in the joyful pursuit of fun; and
WHEREAS, Bob celebrates the successes of others with as much enthusiasm as he does his own successes, often giving of himself in a quietly unassuming way to those who ask for his help; and
WHEREAS, Bob brings a wonderful sense of humor to all he does and brings to this community something incredibly unique, positive, and special. In summary, he makes Greenwich a better place for us all.
NOW, THEREFORE, l, FRED CAMILLO, FIRST SELECTMAN OF THE TOWN OF GREENWICH, do
hereby proclaim Friday, July 1, 2022 as
Robert Joseph Capazzo Day
in the Town of Greenwich and urge all our citizens to join me in congratulating Bob on an outstanding career and for his dedication and service to the Town.
