[ARCHIVED] Greenwich Department of Health Moderna Booster Vaccination Clinic Information

The Greenwich Department of Health will be hosting Moderna Booster Vaccination Clinics on November 10, 2021 and November 17, 2021 from 1-4 pm in the Lower Level of Town Hall.

Currently, boosters have been approved for individuals that completed their initial series at least 6 months ago for Moderna or Pfizer or 2 months ago for Johnson & Johnson and meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • Individuals age 65 of age and older;
  • Individuals age 18 years of age or older who live in long-term care settings;
  • Individuals age 18 years of age or older who have under-lying medical conditions;
  • Individuals age 18 years of age or older who live or work in high-risk settings.

The Center for Disease Control's (CDC) recommendations now allow the mix and match dosing for booster shots. Both the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and CDC support individuals to receive a booster dose that is a different vaccine type than they originally received for their primary series if they choose.
