[ARCHIVED] Town of Greenwich announces parking permit program for Central Greenwich business district residents

The Department of Parking Services is pleased to announce that the Board of Selectman has recently approved the implementation of a parking permit program for residents that live in the central Greenwich business district.

Parking Services will be issuing one-hundred (100) parking permits to qualified residents that will be valid in any one of the ten (10) long term (12-hour) municipal parking lots throughout the central Greenwich area.

The annual cost of these permits, including CT sales tax and a $5.00 processing fee, will be $725.00. This cost will be prorated to the first day of the month in which the permit is issued. Permits will be valid thru the remainder of 2021.

Parking Services will begin accepting applications for these permits on Wednesday, February 17, 2021. The deadline to submit applications will close at 4 P.M. on Monday, March 1, 2021.

A lottery system will be utilized if the demand exceeds the approved allocation of 100 permits.

An application form, along with a detailed list of the program’s regulations and defined boundaries, can be found on the Parking Services page of the Town of Greenwich website or can be obtained in person at Parking Services between 8:30 A.M. and 1 P.M., Monday thru Friday.
