Bendheim Western Greenwich Civic Center
The Bendheim Western Greenwich Civic Center, located in the heart of the Glenville section of Greenwich, is host to an array of recreational activities for the community. We serve thousands of children, teens, and adults each year through a variety of services which include: child development services, health/wellness, community services, and positive youth development; something for everyone to enjoy!

Bible Street Park
Bible Street Park is in the heart of the Cos Cob section of Greenwich, CT. It has athletic fields, a playground, a basketball court, a tennis court, and a community center.

Binney Park
Binney Park is in the Old Greenwich neighborhood of Greenwich, CT. Binney Park's 33 acres were dedicated in 1933. The park has walking paths, stone bridges and a gazebo that is a popular spot for photographers. Binney has tennis courts, soccer, baseball and is great for picnicking.

Bruce Park
Robert Moffat Bruce donated his home (now Bruce Museum) and 100 acres to the Town of Greenwich in1908, making it the Town's oldest public park. Bruce Park includes sports & athletic fields, tennis courts, walking paths, ponds and waterways and scenic views of Long Island Sound. The Bruce Park Playground is one of the most popular locations in Greenwich for families with children.

Byram Park
Located in Byram on the western side of Greenwich, CT, Byram Park includes a beach, pool, playground, marina, boat launch, sports fields, and nature trails.

Christiano Park
Any organization or group wishing to use a field to play a sport, conduct an exercise class, or host a special event must first obtain a permit. Specific requirements including fees and Certificate of Insurance must be met to obtain a permit.

Cos Cob Community Preschool
Cos Cob Community Preschool is licensed by the State of CT and run by the Town of Greenwich Parks and Recreation Department. This program for 3 and 4 year-olds, with a play-based curriculum.

Cos Cob Marina
The Cos Cob Marina has approximately 175 slips, the largest of which can accommodate vessels with a length over all of up to 28' and beams up to 8.5’. There is also limited year-round rack. Dry winter storage is also available.

Cos Cob Mill Pond Park
The Cos Cob Mill Pond Park is located on the corner of Strickland Road and East Putnam Avenue in the hub of Cos Cob. It includes chess tables, benches as well as a view of the Mill Pond and historical cemetery.

Cos Cob Park
Cos Cob Park is located in Cos Cob Harbor. Highlights include a 9/11 Memorial, Gazebo and theatre seating overlooking Long Island Sound. Other features include athletic fields, playground, walking track, picnic tables and restrooms.

Dorothy Hamill Ice Rink
Dorothy Hamill is a Town-owned ice rink that is open from early September through mid-March. The Rink offers a variety of ice skating activities and programs for all ages.

Eastern Greenwich Civic Center
The Eastern Greenwich Civic Center is closed to the public as of May 2022 for demolition and construction. While the building is closed, the athletic fields and tennis courts remain open.

Eugene Morlot Memorial Park
During World War Il, Eugene Morlot was a custodian at Byram School (now McKinney Terrace) who wanted to honor former Byram School students who were killed in action. He raised funds to purchase and plant trees in a grassy area near the school to honor ten students who died during World War ll. Sometime later, three additional trees were added to honor former students killed in the Korean War and in the Vietnam War. At some point, brass name plates in concrete bases were placed at each tree.

Grass Island
Grass Island is a peninsula in the harbor in downtown Greenwich, CT. Features include nature trails, picnic tables, Town marina, boat, and trailer storage as well as a dog park.

Great Captain Island
Great Captain Island is a 17.2-acre Town-owned island with a historic lighthouse that was built in 1868. Visitors take a ferry from Greenwich, CT and will find picnic and camping areas as well as a beach in Long Island Sound. Facilities include restrooms, showers, water fountains, picnic tables and grills. You will also find a 911 memorial and bird sanctuary at Great Captain Island.

Greenwich Common Park
Greenwich Common Park is located on Greenwich Avenue in historic downtown Greenwich, CT. The facilities include a playground, athletic fields chess tables, picnic tables, a running track, and a walking track.

Greenwich Point Park
Greenwich Point Park is a 147.3-acre Town-owned beach and recreation facility in Old Greenwich, CT. Also known by locals as "Tod's Point," it was the former estate of J. Kennedy Tod and many historic buildings still exist in the park. Among them are the Innis Arden Cottage, Seaside Garden and Cowbarn Building, and the Chimes Building. Concessions, restrooms, picnic areas and walking trails are also found at Greenwich Point. Home to Old Greenwich Yacht Club, there is also a boat yard and launch.

Griffith E. Harris Golf Course
Griffith E. Harris Golf Course was designed in 1963 by renowned architect Robert Trent Jones, Senior. The facilities include an 18-hole par 71 golf course, Administration building, full-service Pro Shop, clubhouse and restaurant, driving range, a putting green, chipping green, and practice bunker.

Island Beach
Island Beach is owned by the Town of Greenwich and managed by the Parks & Recreation department. The 3.9-acre island is located in Long Island Sound off the coast of Greenwich, CT. Transportation to Island Beach is by seasonal ferry service departing the Greenwich ferry terminal in downtown Greenwich. Ferry tickets and beach passes are required.

Laddin's Rock Sanctuary
The Laddin's Rock Sanctuary is located on 18 acres in the Old Greenwich neighborhood of Greenwich, CT. The park is natural woodland with scenic vistas and includes two small watercourses and a footbridge.

Mianus River & Natural Park
Mianus River park consists of 109.7 acres in the Mianus neighborhood of Greenwich, CT, and 110.3 acres in adjacent Stamford. There are two trails, the pond trail, the oak trail, Bedrock outcropping and ridges. The Mianus River park is ideal for passive recreation activities like walking, hiking, fishing, and dog walking, but there are no facilities for camping or picnicking.

Montgomery Pinetum Park
Montgomery Pinetum Park is located off Bible Street in the Cos Cob neighborhood of Greenwich, CT and his home to the Greenwich Botanical Center and horticultural building. The park includes a 1.9-mile loop considered moderately challenging and features parking, benches, monoliths, ponds, rental facilities and restrooms. Reservations required to use picnic tables and grills. Outside catering allowed.

Pemberwick Park
Pemberwick Park is located at the corner of Pemberwick Road and Moshier Street in the western end of Greenwich, CT. The park features a playground, athletic field, tennis and basketball courts. The William A. Yantorno Community Center is also located at Pemberwick Park with community room, kitchen and rental facilities.

Pomerance / Tuchman Park
Pomerance / Tuchman Park may be entered from Orchard Street in the Cos Cob neighborhood of Greenwich, CT, and includes over 100 acres of wooded trails and waterways donated to the Town of Greenwich in 2002. It is connected to the Montgomery Pinetum Park with an additional 60 acres of park and trails.

Roger Sherman Baldwin Park
Roger Sherman Baldwin Park is located in Greenwich Harbor, close to Greenwich Avenue in downtown Greenwich, CT. In addition to harbor and Long Island Sound views, the park features a skate park, restrooms, and parking. Roger Sherman Baldwin Park is adjacent to the Ferry docks for Island Beach and Great Captain Island, and the Arch Street Teen Center. The park is also used as a venue for summer concerts and other outdoor events.

The Sachem Nature Preserve is located on the West side of Sachem Lane between Indian Field Road in the Cos Cob neighborhood of Greenwich, CT. Trails are open from sunrise to sunset.

William Street Park
Located in the Fourth Ward Historic District in downtown Greenwich, Connecticut, the William Street Park includes an enclosed area with a playground. The park is open daily from sunrise to sunset.
