Registering to vote is a quick and efficient process.
Register Online
You can register to vote online, change your address, or change your party registration online without having to mail in any forms, if you have a valid Connecticut Driver's License. You can also use this program to print out the forms and mail them in if you do not have a CT Driver's License.
Suggestion Regarding Identification
If mailing in the forms, we strongly suggest you enclose a copy of proper identification (ID), which includes preprinted photo ID (e.g., employee ID or school ID, for example), current utility bill, bank statement, paycheck, etc. If there is no ID submitted and we can not verify you via your social security number or other info, you may be asked to step out of line at the polls to present proper identification. For your convenience, we suggest sending this in advance so your experience on voting day is speedy.
Register in Person
Our office is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays. We are happy to register you in person at our office in Town Hall. We can also assist with legal name changes.
