I Want to Become a Voter
Registration Deadlines for the November 3 Election
October 27th: In person, mail-in and online registration cutoff.
For in person registration hours are 9 AM to 8 PM. Town Hall is open by appointment only.
All mail-in voter registration applications must be received or post-marked by October 27 in order to be accepted.
Residents may request a voter registration form from the Registrars of Voters 203 622-7890.
November 2nd: Limited Registration Session for those whose rights as to age, citizenship or residence mature after October 27th. Apply in the Registrars of Voters office until 5 PM.
Deadline for receipt of mailed applications from the physically disabled whose rights matured after October 27th and for servicemen or servicemen discharged within the calendar year by written request
Election Day Registration is available to residents of Greenwich who are not registered to vote. Election Day Registration is on Election Day at Town Hall from 6 AM to 8 PM. Proof of identity and proof of residence is required.

Military & Overseas Voters
Except for limited circumstances, Military and Overseas voters are considered “absentee voters” and must apply for an absentee ballot annually for each primary and election.

I forgot to register. Can I still vote?
If all voter registration deadlines have been missed, a bona fide resident of the town of Greenwich may register to vote and cast a ballot at general elections in November only. This is located on the second floor of Greenwich Town Hall. For primaries and special elections there is no Election Day Registration.
