I Want to Become a Voter
PRIMARY - September 10, 2019:
Mail-in application form for NEW voter must be postmarked by September 5, 2019 and received by the Registrars of Voters by 12:00 noon of September 9th in order to be permitted to participate in the September 10, 2019 primary. On-line applications have until 11:59pm on September 5, 2019.
Registering In Person deadline is September 9, 2019 at 12pm.
However, if you are already registered as an “Unaffiliated Voter” your mail-in application must be received by September 5, 2019; after this date you may enroll in a party by appearing in-person up until September 9th at 12 Noon.
MUNICIPAL ELECTION – November 5, 2019:
Residents may request a registration form to be sent and must return their form postmarked to the Registrar by October 29, 2019 in order to be permitted to participate in the November 5, 2019 election. On-line registration deadline is 11:59pm on October 29th.
Registering In Person deadline is October 29, 2019 at 8pm. Those, whose rights as to age, citizenship, new residence, which were attained since October 29, 2019 may apply in person at the Registrars Office between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on November 4, 2019.

Except for limited circumstances, Military and Overseas voters are considered “absentee voters” and must apply for an absentee ballot annually for each primary and election.
If all voter registration deadlines have been missed, a bona fide resident of the town of Greenwich may register to vote and cast a ballot at the special Election Day Registration location, on the second floor of Greenwich Town Hall.
