Military & Overseas Voters
Except for limited circumstances, Military and Overseas voters are considered “absentee voters” and must apply for an absentee ballot annually for each primary and election.

I forgot to register. Can I still vote?
If all voter registration deadlines have been missed, a bona fide resident of the town of Greenwich may register to vote and cast a ballot at general elections in November only. This is located in the Lounge on the Lower Level of Greenwich Town Hall. For primaries and special elections there is no Election Day Registration.
Registration Deadlines for the November 7, 2023 Election
- The deadline for voter registration by mail is Oct 31, 2023 (received, post-marked, hand delivered)
- The deadline for voter registration in person is Oct 31, 2023 by 8 p.m. The Registrars of Voters Office will have extended office hours on this day.
- The deadline for online voter registration is Oct 31, 2023 by 11:59 p.m.
