Coronavirus COVID-19 Update

The Department of Parking Services, with approval from First Selectman Camillo, has suspended enforcement of parking meters, daily parking fees at commuter lots, two-hour timed and 24-hour parking restrictions. 

We will continue to enforce all posted No Parking zones and remind drivers to be sure to keep crosswalks and fire hydrants clear.It is our hope that this small measure, which will remain in effect until further notice, will ease some of the burden Town residents and visitors are currently enduring. 

Due to the closure of Town Hall, to the public, from March 17th through at least May 20th, the following updates to our departmental services / procedures, are noted in red:

Pay a Ticket- The original ticket fee line doubles if not paid within 90 days after the issue date of the ticket and triples if not paid within 120 days after the issue date.

NOTE: Tickets issued ONLY for meter violations are eligible for a   $ 5 reduction when paid by the next business day. You can exercise this option ONLY when paying via the drop box.

  • By Phone: 1-800-956-1263

  • Online: www.parkingticketpayment.com/greenwich

  • By Mail: make check or money order payable to: Town of Greenwich (write your ticket(s) and Plate Number(s) on the front of your payment to ensure proper credit).

  • Drop Box: deliver your check or money order, along with your ticket(s), to the drop box, located outside of Parking Services.

Parking Hearing

ALL hearings currently on the calendar for March will be rescheduled and complainants will be notified, via email, of the new dates. 

All appeals may be made within 60 days of the ticket issue date. Hearing dates may be requested at: www.parkingticketpayment.com/greenwich

Welcome to the Town of Greenwich Department of Parking Services. We issue parking permits, enforce the Town’s parking laws, and manage the Town’s parking-related assets.

Department Location

We are located in a detached office in the back of the Greenwich Town Hall at 101 Field Point Road. When you park in the Town Hall Visitor Parking Garage:

  1. Walk through the front entrance of Town Hall. Continue straight through the main lobby and proceed down the stairs. Exit through the double doors and turn right.
    OR
  2. Walk around the back of Town Hall past the service entrance and proceed across the back pavilion area (handicap accessible route/entrance).

Department Responsibilities

The Department of Parking Services is responsible for:

  • Managing municipal parking infrastructure and resources throughout the Town of Greenwich
  • Issuing municipal and railroad station Parking Permits
  • Encouraging appropriate parking through the issuance of Parking Violation Tickets
  • Collecting revenue from and maintaining the municipal parking meter system
  • Providing fiscal stewardship over the Town’s Parking Fund
