Greenwich is a Town of more than 62,000 residents and 28 miles of shoreline on Long Island Sound. Since its founding in 1640, residents have been committed to creating and preserving a sustainable lifestyle from the beaches to backcountry that has earned Greenwich the reputation of being among the best places in the country to live, work and raise a family.
