Book Swap is back!

Fridays and Saturdays, 8 am - 12 pm donation containers will be available. Collection bins for shredded paper and plastic bags are located next to the office. Click here for more information.

Textile Recycling:

The Greenwich Recycling Advisory Board (GRAB) has teamed up with Fairco-Greentree Recycling to make donations of unwanted textiles easy and convenient for Greenwich residents and to raise funds for recycling education in our community. Click here for a list of accepted items.

Food Scrap Recycling:

In partnership with Waste Free Greenwich, Greenwich Recycling Advisory Board and Greenwich Green & Clean, the Town initiated a voluntary, drop-off food scrap recycling program in June 2020. Food scraps are one of the largest components of our waste stream, and composting this material directs nutrients and carbon into the ground to increase soil health, reduces reliance on fertilizers and improves water and nutrient retention. In just its first year, the program diverted over 36 tons, or 72,820 lbs of food scraps from incineration. For further information on program guidelines and procedures, please Click Here.
