Roadway Projects


  •   Glenville Street/Glenville Road Corridor Signal Optimization & Intersection Improvements    
     The Town of Greenwich is initiating concept plans for the Traffic Signal Optimization and Intersection Improvements along the Glenville Street/Glenville Road Corridor for a distance of approximately 1,500 feet. Funding for this project is provided under the Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Improvement Program (CMAQ) with 100% Federal funds administered by the Connecticut Department of Transportation. The Town has selected Milone and MacBroom, Inc. for the design of this project.
  • Glenville Road Intersection Improvements (at Valley Drive and Brookside Drive)
     In 2019, the Town initiated a capital project to review potential improvements to the intersections of Brookside Drive and Valley Drive with Glenville Road. Funding for this project is provided under the Local Transportation Capital Improvement Program (LOTCIP) with 100% funds for construction provided by the Connecticut Department of Transportation. Design is being funded by the Town budget. Conceptual design alternatives are being developed by consulting engineers, Stantec Inc.
