Pemberwick Road Officially Reopened
New Information:
Pemberwick Road has reopened on schedule and temporary jersey barriers are located where future guiderails will be installed. Due to a shortage of materials, the new guiderails are anticipated to be installed in November. There will be no road closures during guiderail installation.

Project Overview:
Due to sections of a retaining wall supporting the southbound lane of Pemberwick Road being in poor condition, this project consists of reconstructing two cast-in-place concrete retaining walls and installing new code-compliant guide rails. Construction plans were prepared by GM2 Associates, Inc, of Glastonbury, CT and the contractor for this project is A. Vitti Excavators, LLC of Stamford, CT. Provided good weather for construction, Pemberwick Road is projected to reopen at the end of August.
Project Updates:
- On Friday, August 27, 2021, Pemberwick Road reopened on schedule.
- Starting Monday, June 28, 2021, Pemberwick Road will be closed from Halock Drive to Comly Avenue.
