The deputy chief of training,assisted by volunteer training officers from each company and career firefighters and instructors, leads the Greenwich Fire Department Training Division. This division prepares our 105 career firefighters and over 70 volunteer firefighters for a wide range of calls in all aspects of firefighting, hazardous materials, technical rescue (rope, trench, and confined space), water rescue, and emergency medical services.
This facility, located at 393 North Street, Greenwich, CT is also used for State of Connecticut certification classes that are delivered "in house" to volunteer firefighters.
