In 2021, the Board of Selectmen approved the implementation of a parking permit program for residents who reside within designated boundaries in the Central Greenwich business district.
The Department of Parking Services is pleased to announce that the new program is a success. The Board of Selectmen recently approved a proposal to make the Central Greenwich - Resident Parking Permits renewable on an annual basis. Current CG permit holders will be notified via mail and email on the procedure to renew their permits online.
Parking Services will be issuing a combined total of two-hundred (200) parking permits to qualified residents AND qualified merchants that will be valid in any one of the ten long term (12-hour) municipal parking lots throughout the Central Greenwich area.
The annual cost of these permits, including CT sales tax and a $5.00 processing fee, is $725.00. This cost will be prorated to the first day of the month in which the permit is issued. Permits will be valid thru the end of the calendar year. Once all two-hundred (200) permits have been issued, applicants can add their name to the Central Greenwich waitlist: https://greenwichpermits.nsolutions.com/
