It can be challenging, but the most important action we can take during a situation like this is to remain calm, treat people with kindness, and follow these basic steps to prevent COVID-19.
Town services are operating in a modified capacity. Email the department to see if your service can be completed online, via telephone, or by mail. If you need a Town service, please first visit the Department’s webpage for specific information. Please check individual department webpages as many have been updated with specific information about their services.

Please consider Town parks and beaches closed unless noted in the table above. Closures include basketball courts, playgrounds, ball fields, school grounds, and open spaces. Bathrooms at all recreational facilities are closed unless posted otherwise.
The Town’s Emergency Operations Center (EOC) is OPEN and operating under a PARTIAL ACTIVATION.
The Family Health Division of the Health Department can provide assistance for homebound residents who still need the vaccine. Residents need to contact their physician to request that a doctor’s order for a vaccine is forwarded to the Health Department. Doctors can contact the Family Health Division by calling 203-622-6495.
