Assessor
The Assessor’s Office is responsible for discovery, listing and valuation of all property within Greenwich. This includes Real Estate, Motor Vehicle and Personal Property. All property is assessed at 70 percent of fair market value.

Community Development
The mission of the Community Development department is to administer, coordinate, contract, monitor and plan all Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) activities.

Conservation
The Greenwich Conservation Commission is an advisory board set up under State Statute and local ordinance to assist the Town with planning and management of its natural and cultural resources.

Emergency Management
Emergency Management Director Joe Laucella coordinates the Town's emergency response plans among Town and private organizations that play key or ancillary roles in responding to an incident of mass casualty, disaster or bioterrorism that may occur in or around Greenwich.

Finance
The Finance Department consists of Accounts Payable, Budgeting and Systems, Internal Audit, Risk Management, Treasury and administration of the town's retirement plans.

Fire Department
The mission of the Greenwich Fire Department (GFD) centers on the preservation of life and property in the Town of Greenwich against the ravages of fire.

Fleet
The Fleet Department is an ASE Certified Blue Seal Facility responsible for providing quality and professional Fleet Management to Town departments.

Geographic Information Systems
The Town of Greenwich is offering GIS maps, abutters and data for sale and download to the general public.

Health Department
The Greenwich Department of Health, directed by Caroline Calderone Baisley, Director of Health, offers a vision for the new Century by providing essential public health services and guidance to local health providers in an effort to prevent disease, premature death, illness and disability in the Greenwich population.

Human Resources
The Department of Human Resources provides excellence in human resources leadership and service delivery. We seek to attract, develop, motivate and retain a highly skilled, effective workforce capable of efficiently carrying out their responsibilities on behalf of the Town and to create a productive, supportive work environment characterized by fairness, open communication, personal accountability, trust and mutual respect.

Human Services
The mission of the Department of Human Services is to enhance the quality of life of Greenwich residents through support in meeting basic human needs and promoting services that foster self-sufficiency.

Information Technology
The IT Department delivers and supports technology to improve the quality of life for Town residents. It does this directly through the operation of a GIS Office for the public; and through technical support of the Town Hall website, resident telephones at Nathaniel Witherell, and e-mail services for boards, commissions, and the RTM.

Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Agency
The agency protects the citizens of the State of Connecticut and Town of Greenwich by making provision for the protection, preservation, maintenance and use of the inland wetlands and watercourses.

Labor Relations
The Town of Greenwich is subject to the State's Municipal Employee Relations Act (MERA), which permits employees to organize for the purpose of bargaining collectively with the employer over terms and conditions of employment.

Environmental Affairs, Planning & Zoning and other related departments comprise the Land Use area.

Legal
The Town of Greenwich Website is provided as a vehicle for public information about the Town and its municipal organization and for the purpose of promoting the transaction of official business between the Town and the public and/or other agencies. The goal is to maintain a strict standard of excellence in all of the material associated with the Town of Greenwich Website consistent with said Purpose.

The Greenwich Library Systems provide free and convenient access to information while promoting the love of reading and research, and the joy of lifelong learning and engagement with the arts, sciences, and humanities.
