Greenwich Public Works to operate with limited public services beginning Monday, March 23, 2020
(Greenwich, Conn.) – Beginning Tuesday, March 24, 2020, The Greenwich Department of Public Works will operate with limited staff and scaled-back services amidst this pandemic.
Please share our link www.greenwichct.gov/dpw to take advantage of the many online services available. Many of the necessary forms and procedures can be found at this website. Please be advised that Town Hall is closed and staff will be working remotely. The best way to contact us while Town Hall is closed is via e-mail at: email@example.com .
Waste Disposal/ Holly Hill will remain open at this time. In order to comply with social distancing practices the traffic patterns will change and there may be long delays particularly on Saturday. Whenever possible please drop off during the week when there is typically less volume. We urge everyone to be patient and vigilant about staying at least six feet away from others at all times including staff! No new permits will be issued at this time.
*Household Hazardous Waste Day has been postponed. Once a new date has been determined it will be posted to the Website.
Building Inspection Division
The initial screening of the application will be completed via email. Click here for the forms/applications. Highway, Sewer, and Engineering Divisions

Due to Covid-19 and limited schedules, Sewer inspections will be performed on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. by appointment. Please call the inspector line at 203-622-0963 ext. 5 and leave a message. Our inspector will be checking the voicemails remotely and will call back to schedule an appointment.

If you have a sewer emergency such as a sewer back-up please call 203-622-0963 and press 1. If no one answers, and you have a sewer emergency, please call Police Dispatch at 203-622-8004. Thank you.
