Waste Disposal

Holly Hill is OPEN. Please comply with social distancing and wear your mask. Please follow current traffic patterns and there may be delays as we manage traffic through the site, particularly on Saturdays New permits are required starting July 1, 2023- please click here for more information. Hours continue to be M-F 7:00 AM - 2:30 PM and Sat 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM. PLEASE make every effort to limit your trips and come during the week!

Building Inspection Division

Effective April 5, 2021 the Building Inspection Division will be open for public visits.

Document Submittal – To submit documents to complete previously submitted and pending permit applications or to comply with permit conditions for issued permits for the purpose of obtaining a Certificate of Occupancy, email documents to bldginsp@greenwichct.org. When received, if document is not suitable for staff to print you will be notified by return email to mail the document[s]. Documents can now also be submitted in person between the hours of 8:00 AM and 1:00 PM daily, or mailed to the Division of Building Inspection, DPW, 101 Field Point Road, Greenwich CT 06830.

Permit Status - Questions regarding permit status of pending permits or issued permits for the purpose of obtaining a Certificate of Occupancy/Compliance shall be emailed to bldginsp@greenwichct.org , you will receive a return email response.

Inspection Requests:
STARTING ON OCTOBER 18, 2021 YOU WILL ONLY BE ABLE TO SCHEDULE INSPECTIONS USING OUR NEW CITY SQUARED PORTAL. The inspectionrequests@greenwichct.org  e-mail will no longer be in service for scheduling inspections. You must schedule using the City Squared portal. http://www.citysquared.com

Permit Record Room – Public Hours Effective April 5, 2021:

APPOINTMENTS PREFERRED and will have preference - Open to public Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. 

SAVE YOURSELF A TRIP  - Many requests can be handled by e-mail. Send requests for surveys, permit reports, building plans and copies of C.O.s to: bldgrecords@greenwichct.org.

*Schedule appointments for viewing and copying of files using the same e-mail. Title searchers and attorneys are required to have scheduled appointments.    


Sewer Information

The Sewer permit application form may be found here.   Please schedule your inspections directly with our Environmental Asset Engineer, Al Romano at 203-622-0963 ext. 5.  If you have an emergency repair that requires inspection, please contact Al Romano directly for further direction.  We thank you for your patience, cooperation and understanding at this time.
